IMPORT/EXPORT the CUSTOMIZED ATTRIBUTES

Introduction

The ZIE for Web-Client provides an additional capability to import/export the customized attributes (i.e., saved delta changes). With this feature, Users can have a copy of delta changes for a client page in JSON file format.

Quick Actions to get benefit out of this feature:

• To begin with, launch the Config/HTML-based client page in the browser, for example, A.html.
• Now make some changes to the session properties (Properties panel) and Settings panel like Font Color remap, Key remap, Print screen, Hotspot, Cut/Copy/Paste, Cursor, preferences tab as per the user’s requirement and save it for the sessions available in the client page.
• Now, select the export option from the dashboard, enter the file name, and click OK (.json format file gets downloaded).
• Similarly, using the import option the user can import the delta changes file (.json format), which overrides the current session with the latest delta changes.
• Once the file imports successfully, the user gets a confirmation popup.

Limitations

• Only .json files can be imported/exported
• The imported delta changes exist until the browser cache gets cleared for the HTML-based model and until the page/user logouts a Config-based model page.
