How-to videos are now live on the Workload Automation YouTube channel. 

Video is a unique way of communicating a lot of information in a short period of time. They allow you to retain more information, understand concepts more rapidly and make you more enthusiastic about what you are learning. The Workload Automation team has been thinking of you, and is hard at work developing how-to tutorial type videos to introduce you to new features and help you in realizing both frequent everyday scenarios as well as more complex ones.  

Want to know how you can configure authentication using LDAP in Version 9.5? Or, want to see how you can monitor Workload Automation, in a Red Hat OpenShift cluster environment using the open source tool Grafana for visualizing application metrics? How about learning how to replace the default DWC welcome page with a customized page that embeds an external website, data returned from an external REST API, and some static text? Eliana Cerasaro  HCL Workload Automation – DB customDriver job 

In the Workload Automation environment, if you need to use information stored in an external RDBMS, you can retrieve that data using the Database Job type definition, however, if your RDBMS is not listed among the predefined ones in the Database Job type, you can use the custom driver option to connect to it. In this video, we describe how to connect to a Postgresql database, using the custom JDBC driver option of the Database Job type.

By default, the Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) is configured to use a local file-based user repository. You can implement an LDAP-based user repository by configuring the sample authentication templates replacing the configuration file currently in use. In this video you will see how simple it is to set up your DWC with your MSAD LDAP.
